Pig Lab

When it comes to my job I love that I have the opportunity to perform in many capacities. I teach, I am a companion animal technician, an equine technician, and a food animal technician. Every once in a while I get asked to help out with the labs that help human doctors and nurses learn things like laparoscopic surgery and hemostasis. It is fun to get the exposure to doing things like placing catheters in pig ears and intubate them.
